Bone Grafting

Specialized procedure to restore bone to its original form

Dental bone can recede losing its original form and density due to gum disease, tooth loss, or trauma.  Bone grafting helps to restore and maintain bone structure that is especially important when placing a dental implant to ensure an ideal outcome.  Bone grafting procedure involves using allograft bone, otherwise known as donor bone, and placing it into the area of bone loss. The grafting material creates a “framework” where your own body’s cell can enter and integrate with the material eventually transforming it into your own working bone.
